Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 1.22 lakh units in September 2019. This includes 1.12 lakh units in the domestic market, 2,952 units of domestic OEM sales and 7,188 units of exports.
In September 2019, passenger car sales were down by 27.1% at 1.10 lakh units in the domestic market, as compared to 151,512 units sold in the same month last year.
The total domestic sales stood at 1.15 lakh units in September 2019 as against 1.53 lakh units sold in September 2018, thereby declining by 24.8%, the company said.
Exports of Maruti Suzuki for the month stood at 7,188 units. This declined by 17.8%, as in Sep 2018, the company had exported 8,740 units.
