Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has registered a net loss of Rs216.25cr in Q1FY20 as compared to a profit of Rs155.58cr in the corresponding period previous year.
The company’s standalone sales for the quarter ended June 2019 came in at Rs4,531.68cr, down 24%.
The downside in revenue for the quarter is largely due to fall in revenue of both power and industry segments. Segment revenue of power was down by 25% to Rs3,491.54cr.

As per media reports, ~20.8 lakh shares changed hands in a block deal.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd is currently trading at Rs53.10, down by Rs3.8 or 6.68% from its previous closing of Rs56.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs54.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs56.40 and Rs53 respectively.
