Piramal Enterprises Ltd posted a net profit increase of 25% yoy to Rs470cr in Q4FY19 vs. Rs375cr in Q4FY18. The company’s revenue rose by 23% at Rs3,680cr during Q4FY19 vs. Rs2,991cr in Q4FY18.
The Board recommended a dividend of Rs28 per share for FY19. The dividend payout ratio is 29%.
Its pharma revenue grew 11% yoy to Rs1,477cr for the quarter and 11% to Rs4,786cr for the full year.

(PEL) said, “We are pleased to announce that Piramal Enterprises has recorded another year of robust performance across both revenues and profitability. The Company has delivered 24% growth in revenues to Rs13,215cr and a 26% growth in profit before tax (before exceptional items) to Rs2,478cr for FY19. Our loan book has grown by 34% despite volatility in the NBFC sector. We also significantly diversified our borrowings by raising long-term funds of Rs16,500cr since September 2018.”
