The INDIA VIX is down 0.8% at 12.3. S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29,7770 up 149 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9200 up 26 points. A total of 107 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
BSE Telecom index on Monday’s trade is down by nearly 20 points or 1.5%, with Bharti Airtel and Bharti Infratel contributing to the index downfall.
Bharti Airtel is down by 2.9%, Bharti Infartel is down by 1.3%, Idea Cellular is down by 0.2% and GTL Infra is down by 0.3%.

Meanwhile some stocks in the index are trading in green such as, HFCL is up by 3.1%, Reliance Communication is up by 1.4%, Tata Communication is up by 1.3%, MTNL is up by 1% and TTML is up by 0.9%.

Some buying activity is seen in Realty, FMCG, Utilities, Capital Goods, Energy and Oil & Gas, while Telecom and IT indices are showing weakness on BSE.
Reliance, Amubuja Cement, ACC, Ultratech Cement, Gail and LT are among the gainers, whereas Bharti Infratel, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, IOC, BPCL and Bank of Baroda are losing on the NSE.
