The price on March 16 were higher when compared to the prices as on March 15 at USD 50.25 per bbl.
The prices for Indian basket in rupee term increased to Rs. 3318.91 per bbl on March 16.
The rates in rupee term stood at Rs 3292.37 per bbl on March 15.
INR closed near its 16-month high at Rs 65.38 per US$ on March when compared to the closing at Rs 65.51 per USD on March 15.
